The Panasia forum system has officially been created! Come on by, read what's here (not much at this point, LOL), and create an account if you wish to post messages. I have created some gaming categories (prompted by an expectation that my NWN or Lineage 2 friends might stop by), and encourage anyone who's interested in posting to do exactly that. Welcome -- and have fun. :-) Praxis

Panasia BBS (1989-1999) - North Hollywood, CA - Wildcat/PCBoard "Panasia BBS started in 1989, running Wildcat!. It was inspired by other amazing BBS's such as The Ledge, Hotline, Hot Tips, etc. Sometime in the early 90's, I converted Panasia BBS to PCBoard, which she ran on until her sunset in 1999. Panasia BBS quickly joined the echomail community, first by becoming a member and then hub for Intelec, then later by joining ILink. Eventually, Panasia became an ILink NDS (hub) and I was appointed ILink's Admissions Administrator. Thank you for maintaining this huge, cool list. Very nostalgic indeed. Panasia BBS is gone now, but I did maintain the Internet domain name, which is now used for a website: www.panasia.com." - William ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Where in the hell is William? d**n, I miss the old crowd. Don Box moved in with me for awhile, before I sold the old place in North Hollyweird and moved back to my home town on the east coast of Galveston Bay, Texas. I'm still in touch with Don from time to time. He's back in San Fran, driving a cab again. Had one hook-up with Rex Sheasby, who'd sold out and moved from Van Nuys up north somewhere. He's still birding and doing well. Pretty much lost Glen Quarnstrom along the way, and everybody else too, as I never quite got the hang of dialing through London to reach Panasia in California. Hope all are well, and my best regards to some great old friends. Now I'm on KC5JK.1.tripod.com and KC5JK.tripod.com. --Paul Moratto

Paul! It's been sooooo long. Your name brings back memories of the old Panasia BBS crowd. Alas, the world wide web was the death knell of bulletin board systems such as mine. Sometime when you get a chance, check out www.bbsdocumentary.com. I bought the DVD series, and it's pretty good! Prompts even MORE nostalgia for me, especially as an ex-Sysop. Take care, Paul. My e-mail address is praxis@shadowscout.com. Keep in touch! William

Amazing how far this board has grown. From an old apple 2 clone. Indeed! Those were good times, too. So much fun!! :-) William
